Torch Red- 1997 Corvette
LS1 Hobbie
Just bought a 1997 Corvette with 48,000 miles. Excellent shape very clean. I want to trick it out a little and get the HP up. I was looking at info for cams when I came across this site. Hope you can share some pointers.

Welcome! Nice thing about the Vette is you don't have to upgrade everything else like us F-body guys to handle the extra power.

You guys with the Z28s are my heros. I bought a new Z28 the summer between my junior and senior year in high school. It cost me all of $4,100. Midnight Metallic Blue, Close ratio 4 speed without air conditioning. The only other options I got were the spoilers front and rear. I had more fun in that car then any other car I ever owned. Brings back some of my best memories. I never bought another car just for myself. Married and raised 3 girls. My DD is a 1993 F-Body red Camaro 6 banger with 200,000 miles leftover from the last daughter that graduated high school and had to have a jap ride to go to KU in. If I hadn't of had my mind set on a Vette. I would have bought a Z28. I got some real stories from that Z28 and crusing in the old days.

Welcome to the site. I just sold a 96 Camaro 3.8L with 209K on the ticker...was the second owner and bought it with 22K on the odom.
Lots of stories about that car...none appropriate for this site though
