Now then, back to our regularily scheduled program
Apparently the yahoo news byte was wrong in that the Heisman committee has already decided to strip Bush of the award.
It isn't to say that they won't, but they haven't made any decisions yet, or something along those lines.Last edited by FasstChevys; 09-09-2010 at 11:44 AM.

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
Exactly, they are still weighing all the ramifications it will have if they choose to pull his name from the books. With USC voluntarily returning their Heisman, I think that is pretty much the nail in the coffin. I don't think anyone previously has ever had their Heisman revoked, so this is a first time ordeal, and something they are probably looking at thoroughly.

only if he breaks nfl rules. he didnt. so no reason for the nfl to punish him over taking a pay cut. lol had to throw the pay cut out there.
you get to see something even better than carrol being banned from ncaa. you get to watch him choke after dealing players away and signing rejects lol. poor seattle fans. decent draft, which would have happened if pete was coach or not, and the past few years the only major problem they have had were injuries. if their whole D and half their O didnt get hurt they could have been a contender last year.Last edited by 00z28bubba; 09-09-2010 at 04:33 PM.

well, if they really wanted to pursue it and be fair they should do an inquiry on EVERY heisman winner since the trophies inception. Wonder how many on that list took payment of some form or a family member took payment? I could care less really. I'm not a USC fan or a Bush fan for that matter....he just happens to play on my team. I just think it's pretty hypocritical for these guys to go after these kids on a case by case basis. I say if you win the heisman ( or evidently have ever won a heisman) they should do a full inquiry and audit of your finances and your families finances during your college career. If they did that with every college player they'd find what EVERYONE already knows.......those players get benefits for signing with certain colleges.
They can take away whatever awards they want to....it doesn't change what Bush did on the field at USC the same way it doesn't change what Cushing did defensively on the field for the Texans ( not Dallas like was previously stated).

It could change a lot...he wouldn't of played for usc perhaps. Why did they buy his mom a house unless it swayed her decision
