C5 vs Me

Who would win in a race, from a dig, or from a roll.. This guy is trash talking me over the internet on how his stock c5 (not zo6) would spank my slow "firebird". LOL. Im pretty sure id take them since i have a few mods and hes just a dipshit and probably would miss a few gears..

Depends what are your mods?? Like u said he probably will miss a gear.

i have a lid, LTs, ORYP, Catback, plug wires, monster level 4 clutch, sportlines, torque arm, qa1 rear shocks, and thats about it... o and a frost tune also.

I think you will get him. My dad has a 99 c5, we raced a few years back when i was mostly stock and he was bone stock. it was close but he got me on the top end.

it all depends on driver mod and a4 or m6...i see you are a m6..as is he...so it will be a good race...race from a dig...that is what real racing is...not this roll shit ....race from a dig and out-drive him....i raced a p-51a mustang (friends) and we raced from a dig...just a short little run..up to 60 ...and i destroyed him in that little race because he blew his tires off...if it was a longer race i would have got pwnd ..and if he was able to hook more likely the same thing......leave the racing to you and him ..not car vs car and you will be good.

If you have exhaust and a tune it should be no problem. The motors put down the same HP stock but the Vette has weight advantage so you need a little extra HP to make up for it. I have a bolt in LS1 A4 with 3.73's and love it when someone with a stock C5 tries to race it's fun watching their faces in my rear view. Now I have had a few bolt on C5 Z06 put a few cars on me, but hey it's all in fun to me.
