Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 T/A Firehawk M6
well for the folks that are in this thread please ask around your friends IRL and here on the board. If we can get a few people on board we can speak to MWC about what kind of discounts they are willing to work with us. I'd be glad to coordinate this effort and negotiate terms of the arrangement. In fact I'll contact them and see what they can do for different numbers of people to see if this effort is worth it.

I am down for it! The later we push it off the more we'll have. I think people might take there tax refunds or want to. I just need it by the first week in May to satisfy my time schedule.
What time were you thinking?
Things to ask MWC, (I have spoken to them briefly)
Shipping will be covered! (I will take care of it due to my job!)
If we order 3 rears (assume base model to keep quotes on the low side) how much money will it be off per rear?
$50 each, $100 etc.
Then repeat the process with 5....
If we all order the SAME EXACT thing is that any more savings.
Of course that is a tricky thing. I think that would have a few user changing items as in gearing to start.
Any other thoughts.
I think you have my number and email if you want to take this off the forum untill we have something really nailed down.

yeah.... going for the same setup is a HUGE undertaking considering the options they provide. Arguably they have more options than anyone else out there.
Some will want the drag bar... some wont. Some will want a watts link, others dont
I personally want a Wavetrac with 4.11's which will require 35 spline axles. Some want the TA on the trans. others want a tunnel mounted arm with clearance for true duals.... everyones situation is unique. nice as it sounds i just can't see it happening. though we can work out the timing pricing and such together. i may give you a call in a little while and we can hammer out some details. If we build up a large order there will be significant lead time so the sooner we notify them the better prepared they will be to meet our individual time needs. Prioritizing the order list and sourcing long lead time parts for individual builds and colors etc.
This is starting to sound very very exciting.

Really what you need to consider for a group deal is the housing- width, backbrace, fill cap, powdercoating etc- and the LCA's, pan hard bar, and TA. Everything else is purchased from other vendors (Strange, Richmond, etc). They might be willing to work with the base rear but I'd be willing to be the options will be the same cost. To be honest, once you really get into it, their rear isn't that much more than some of the others and you're getting a much better product. I looked into it- a rear from Moser or Strange, 9", posi, 4.11's, 4ch mod for TCS and ABS, brace, filler cap, plus tunnel mounted TA, adj LCAs, LCA brackets, and pan hard was about the same price.

Shipping is free from MWC unless you order the fully assembled and have it shipped to your house and then the shipping company could charge you a fee to unload it. I'm picking my up from the trucking center to avoid any fees.

while they may not charge you for shipping it is factored into their prices. Since we believe we can arrange shipping to Sweet, which is no problem for many of us, they have agreed to factor that out of their pricing to the tune of 150 dollars.

Best of luck on the pricing- it's a sweet rear (which just sounds dirty!). As soon as mine arrives you better believe I'll have pics!
