The funny thing is i am single now but when i was working all them hours i had a gf for 2 and half years. Still kinda miss her been single since. Sometimes i regret working all them hours but when i think of the things i have owned out right at my age that i have paid for myself i feel like i have accomplished something. My parents are by no means rich my mom drives a 98 hail dented cavalier with 177k miles and my dad drives a 96 ford f-150. They let me live under there roof because they want me to live a better life then them. My dad got my mom pregent early in life and has been with her ever since. They have been together 39 years and are the best.

Alittle update. I guess i am keeping the car. The guy that was suppose to buy it backed out. He called me 5 times and emailed me numerous times. I thought it was a done deal. He said he had the money in hand and would have it on a Monday. Well that Monday came and the whole week passed so i got ahold of him and he tells me he cant buy it because his wife was in a car accident back in may and has to buy her a car. WTF? He didnt know about this when he was talking to me on the phone? Anyways it will work out for the best. I put it on comp coverage and wont drive it till next year. I am thinking it is a good thing it didnt sell. I was just so pissed at the time that i didnt want to deal with it but now i am glad i still have it.

I'm very happy to see you're keeping your baby. I would have been pissed off too. Hopefully you can get those "bugs" worked out with the speedo.

If a GM dealership made your speedo worse, this all sounds like a simple calibration issue. It sounds as if they just tried to flash your ECM/TCM with a different calibration.
Since your speedo is indicating so much faster than your actual speeed, the trans doesnt know when to upshift, therefore the engine will probably bounce off the rev limiter, unless you let off the throttle and allow the trans to upshift with a lower TPS% input.
A WOT upshift will only occur once a predetermined rpm and speed are achieved.
Do you know anyone with EFILive or HPTuners? I would think that adding an automatic segment into your calibration, then doing some tweaking to your VSS and trans tables should have you ready to rock.
Good luck man, nice car there.

Its hard to say sometimes it is okay to drive but once the speedo starts saying im doing 130 or some high speed when really im not then the trans wont shift. I cant even put it in another gear like 2nd manualy all it will stay at is 1 and reverse. RPM transmissions is steeping up to the plate and is going to fix it for free and help with transporting. I wont be out that much money. When i find out exactly what is wrong i will post up. BTW the dealership claims then didnt do anything just read my codes. I was not happy but i was not going to argue because they said they didnt have the tools to calibrate it. In other words i wont go back there.

The Vette got picked up at 830 am today destin for RPM transmission. Driver said it would arrive late this week early next week. Only thing is that battery dont like to hold a charge and i hope it holds up. Either way i should be driving it before long.

Well they got started on it late today. Will know what the exact problem is prolly tommorow. On a side note TJ at RPM asked if they can take the car out when completed and shoot some videos for there website. I guess they want to show the drivabilty of the car with the auto swap since alot of people ask about it. Since mine was in the shop i became the lucky one. I will post up the vidz when they complete it but im sure that wont be for awhile with the vidz that is.

Been awhile since i posted about the Vette. Got everything figured out and they retuned it i picked up 15rwhp. Went from 518 rwhp to 533 rwhp. Not bad for a stalled auto. Also got the 15lb braille battery in the car. If i get the lead man job at work then i will get a decent raise and i may just get my new rims and will have the car to exactly how i want it.

I went with the 19/20 combo Clint, and it turned out very well. Now I'm running 285's in the front with 345's in the rear. Really fills up the rear wheel wells.
I chose my wheels from this site, and the last time I checked he still had my car on his site. He changes the cars around a bit though. Look for the JSB with the ZR1 body kit.

yep..it's still on there
