Yeah right, i'm waiting to see what "street" car you can come up with that can outperform a Buggati Veryon in every aspect.

I was going to put "IB4T" but didn't think it was needed. Obviously I can't build a car of that magnitude because I'm not rich. I would love to if I had money but I don't soooooo............ I said it could be done, and it can, didn't say I could do it. If I was that rich, I wouldn't be spending so much time on LS1.com thats for sure. I'd be out doing things left and right.

I'd build it better

But in all seriousness, I'd have to do some studying before anything. I'd go FI thats for sure. Possible twin supercharged or twin turboed. I believe the Koenigsegg is twin supercharged

Aerodynamic for sure, with plenty of downforce. RWD or AWD leaning more towards AWD with pretty much everything made from titanium and carbon fiber. Engine block would be titanium but since titanium doesn't get rid of heat like aluminum does, cooling would be a big priority. Just some things off the top of my head. It took years to develop the Buggati, I can't build something better in a post on LS1.com until I've did my own research and development.

EDIT: Titanium is 45% lighter then steel but just as strong. Titanium is twice as stong as aluminum but 60% heavier. Just so you everyone is up on that

I also edited to say I'd be using aluminum on many of the parts also.

Yeah thanks I really didnt know what Titanium was before you came here and educated me on it

Point of the matter is, as of right now there isnt anything in production that is even close to beating that car in any way. Maybe there is a company working on a supercar as we speak that can beat the veyron...who knows. But I can guarantee you one thing, if I gave you 2 million there is no way in hell you personally could build a car better than the veyron.

And your right, tons and tons of R&D goes into making a car like that. You will never have the $ or the brains those engineers have, nor the facilities to build a car better than that. I cant imagine the countless hours that car spent inside the wind tunnel testing the aerodynaimcs from every corner of it.

Thats what I'm saying. People always thought the f40 was "THE" supercar back then. It costed roughley $400,000 which back then was like $2,000,000 today and had a twin turbo V8. Nobody thought anything would come out faster and more expensive then out poped the mclaren. Nobody thought there could be a car that could go 240+mph and cost over $1,000,000 brand new. Then out came the Veyron. Everything on that car is all custom made. Its not LS1.com where you can call one of our sponsers and they will grab the part of the shelf and send it to you.

lets not forget the ZR1 had the title "worlds fastest production car"

yet the bugattis is a production car (granted small volume production) and even the new ZR1 20 years later, can not even come close to the veyron. yet the veyron is a new(er) less established car. The Veyron took the title from mclaren as the fastest car, then lost it too SSC Ultimate Aero and took it back again! The ZR1 has a long way to go to get the title!!!

simple way to put it:
(the street)
veyron or murcielago = more head turning, more pussy, more vip treatment
vette, 4th gen f-body = midlife crisis, there goes another loud exhaust car

(the track)
veyron or murcielago = faster cornering, lap taps, easier to drive
vette, 4th gen f-body = if modded faster on the straights, falls behind in the turns, harder to drive.

bottomless budget, technology and R&D, a john deere lawnmower smokes them all!!! lol

If a faster/ better car could be made that outperforms the Bugatti in every aspect, it would already be being built by one of the "boutique" supercar builders where price is no object, eg, Pagoni, Noble, Koeniggsegg.

Funny, the Veyron outperforms all their top machines.

I'm sure someday a car will be built that outperforms the Veyron in every aspect. But that day is not today.

Don't see how I backed down at all, I told you the way I'd go around it and what most of my materials would be right off the bat without years of studing . Never gave a shitty excuse, gave an honest excuse "Years of development" if thats shitty, god help us. And I wouldn't be judging people's intelligence considering I've scored in high enough in "A REAL" IQ test to put some people to shame. I have close to a photographic memory, I just don't really apply myself like I should but thats changing and changing fast. People have been comparing cars vs jets for years, Lingenfelter has been racing his Vettes vs F-18's and such. Shit, a lingenfelter RWD TT vette will destroy a Buggati off the line and in the 1/4 (Just saying) Thats only 2 aspects, but a better car can be built for cheaper. If you disagree, you think the Buggati is as good as we (Humans) can make
