I was raised by my mother and stepfather, who is her second husband. He's my 'dad' in all ways that matter, as my father was unfortunately not around much. So I can tell you that a decent, caring stepfather can make a big difference in a kid's life. I know the prospect of an instant family is daunting, but I say don't let that alone scare you off. If it was just the usual bout of 'wedding party sex' that comes with every wedding, then exit as gracefully as possible. But if it was the culmination of long standing feelings, then go for it.

And as some others have said, sometimes chicks just wanna get laid too. Especially at weddings. So just talk to her about it. Sure it'll be a little awkward at first, but you'll both be happy to get past it and know exactly where you stand now...

Heck, if OP is okay with being a step-father, not a biological father....he just got to bypass about 1-1/2 years of what I like to refer to as "the suck," meaning up at all hours of the night for feedings, dirty diapers, potty training, etc.
