Oh yeah, totally. It depends on the power of the motor in it.

But batteries are a pain. 15 minutes of play time and 2 hours of charging. Protip: Buy lots of batteries

Although waiting for batteries to charge doesn't seem nearly as bad as fucking with shit like adjusting the carb and that stuff that you get on the Nitro models.

nitro can be a bitch. easy to tune, but minor changes in conditions (cloud passes over) or half tank lean (with retarded maxx or savage tanks) can throw your tune out the window

My slash 4x4 has the stock velineon brushless setup, and I'm only running 7-Cell 3000mah NIMH packs. I can get 9 minutes of solid racing runtime. I am currently looking at possibly stepping up to LIPO power. HobbyKing (jap company) sells Turnigy 5000mah 2S Lipos for 26 bucks each. Shipping is like 30$, and it takes a number of weeks (usually over a month) to get them. They are always on backorder, and i guess the laws on shipping LiPo batteries are becoming a real bitch due to their instability.
