    **loud clunk**

    Hello all. I need of some quick help. Tonight after I accelerated for the first time it felt/sound like a HUGE LOUD clunking under the middle of my driver/passenger seats. It only does it when I "punch it" after stopping. When I pull away slowly it doesn't do it. Thanks.


    It's a 97 Trans Am Convert.

    Yea, I have 0 knowledge of cars/engines . I do know that you can't hear it when you're outside the vehicle.

    Tranny mount would be the 1st thing I'd check. If not that then it might be the Torque arm mount. Both are in that area.

    I agree with the 2 above statements, start checking suspension mounts.
