2008 cbr600rr red/black

Up for sale/trade is a 2008 cbr600rr with only 3400 miles. Has puig db windscreen, yoshi slip on, oem solo seat cowl, spiegler ss brake line, and more. All stock parts also. Clean and clear title in hand. Never been dropped in anyway shape or form. Not even a scratch on this bike. Also looking for 1998-2002 ws6. Asking 6900/obo. Located near Buffalo NY.

If that was a 1000 and you wanted to take my camaro 400rwhp camaro in trade and give me some cash, we might have something. I have a cbr600 and it just kills me that in my group of friends, somehow I have the slowest sportbike. Fastest car(s), yes, but slowest bike kills me, and this would not solve my problem.

What yr do you have? The 600rr was the best all around sportsbike for 3yrs. running! Of course liters will be faster.

I have an 05, which in 05 might have been the best 600 out there, but doesn't match up well against a brand new one, but most of my friends have more bike than me, although my roommate has a GSXR 750, and he is just such a terrble rider he never should have bought that bike, because at least when he was slow on his 01 Ninja 600 he could blame the bike itself, but now when he gets stomped on by and older, smaller bike, he's got no choice but to admit that equipment isn't his problem.

Why do people buy sportbikes and then only straight line race them? They are built to be nimble, balanced, and stop on a dime. Your 600rr may lose in a straight line but on turns and on a real course you would have almost no disadvantage. I have had no problem keeping up or passing friends and fellow riders with 1000cc bikes on some hardcore rides. The only advantage i really see in the 1k bikes is that the power comes on earlier which is great for cruising, but when im really pushing a turn at 80-100mph+ my 600rr is great. So if you really want your 600 to be faster than your friends 1000, learn how to ride it properly and almost no average rider on a 1000 will keep up with you, unless your just hitting it in a straight line and if thats all you do then get a 12 inch extended swing arm and a huge rear tire.

Roads around here are notoriously terrible for riding. South Eastern PA has just terrible roads for laying into corners on. We have highways though, where its pretty common to find quite a bit of open road in front of me. Also, not sure how big you are, but I'm a bigger guy (Average size for a pro rider is in the 150lbs range), and the bigger bike just "feels" better under me. With enough time, effort, and especially $, my 600 would even be straight line faster than my friend's 750 - without the need to stretch and lower it. I just don't like being left behind when the road opens up, and since the nearest road cource is 100 miles away, and the nearest drag strip is 15, I am much more likely to find myself at the strip than the course.

Also - Flyinpastu - I'd be needing your bike, plus a fair amount of cash for my car, and in truth, if I'm trading my car for a bike, it is very likely going to be something of the current generation. So, someone who bought themselves a new 1000, had it for 1800 miles, scared the crap out of themselves, and decided they'd keep their fast toys limited to things with 4 wheels.

I'm 6' 2" 190lbs. Sounds like you guys should just be riding z14rs or busas if you like big bikes with alot of straightline power.

I completely agree with Zinergy. Wow this is kinda comical. I would say that 99.9% of all riders will never be able to ride to a 600's limits. I ride with alot of r1's, and yes they are faster on the straight but its not like you are out of sight. Also 2005 600rr is no comparison to the 2007 and up.

i found a post with pics of your car and its not what im looking for and i wouldn't even consider trading my bike for it sorry .
