I hate my car.

Yesterday I drove it to work since its hot as balls here and the 4runner doesnt have A/C.

So 2 blocks away from the house it starts running like dog ass. I get to work and pop the hood and see coil #1 is discolored and I figure its burnt up. Buy a new one for $55, sweat my ass off in the garage last night installing it. Take it out and still running like shit. started playing around with things and #2 injector plug was off. DAMNIT! So all is well.

I come to work today, runs fine and AC is COLD. Just went to lunch, and damn AC is HOT. Compressor is on. I recharged it last summer.

Im pissed.

Guess Ill evacuate and recharge tonight and hope for the best.

With one window not working you're at half capacity. You need to do at least 100 to operate properly.

Well, unless you have lockers/posi installed, even 4-wheel drive is really only 2 wheel drive.... technically.

9 years? thats 11 years by most accounts. Seeing as how 99's were sold in 98

2 pounds of 134 and all is well........for tonight. Im guessing it will be hot by tomorrow. Gotta find a leak

LOL its only 9... 2010 is not over yet. Technically I guess if you want to go by the exact build date you could argue something in between 9 and 11.

I've had good luck with putting the dye from AutoZone in there to find the leak. Lucky for me my leak was just a hose on the 98 and the low pressure valve on the 96.
