    Im an idiot again

STUPIDITY STRIKES AGAIN............ So this evening i was merging onto the road while driving my car and got on it. Cop radars me at 60 in 45. Anyways question is will my premiums change due to this ticket if i just pay the fine and if so how much. I have had other traffic tickets but have had them all taken care of by lawyers. So no points on my license.and insurance shouldnt know about them. I have read online about insurance company's give the policy holder a break for the first ticket. it would be cheaper for me to pay the fine but i don't want to pay higher premiums. Best way to eliminate this situtaion would be don't drive like a re-tard.

is k, I was doing 85 in a 60 today just to see how smooth my truck was cruising at that speed think I burned a couple gallons of fuel in a few minutes.. But you can see everything on that road

this was a two lane on either side split with a grassy median with few trees..... should be 55 but its okay they have it posted 45 for a reason.

The speed limits for roads are usually set according the type of road as well as the population of the area the road is in. They don't often put up the wrong signs, so 45mph is probably the correct speed limit.

Your insurance will only go up if they find out about the ticket i.e. it gets reported to the DMV. Besides beating the ticket in court the only other way is to take traffic school. In my area you're only allowed to take traffic school once every 18 months.

    Sadly now demodded :(

Your age has a goodish bit to do with the cost of your insurance premium also.

The only time NC does not report speeding tickets to your insurance is if you get a ticket for less then 10 over the speed limit. So at that speed unless you get a laywer your premiums will go up.

Youll needa lawyer. If you dont, go ahead and bend over, youll be look at what it costed me a few months ago on my last 6 month, 250 a month is not fun.

I was talkin to my business teacher, he's a lawyer and he said that the cheapest/ best chance of getting out of a ticket is to go down and talk to the D.A. personally. Explain your case and if he's havin a good day he'll let you off of a petty offense. (less work to do)

But otherwise you should get a lawyer

change your speedo so its 10mph slower and say its off cause i have wide tires or some kind of bullshit worked for my dad's friend not hard to do either take off the plastic go to 60mph than put the needle to 50mph and done. i believe that will work on these cars not to sure though
