this might sound stupid but whats the difference between UMI 2 pointer and 3 pointers? Less flex? Sorry im deciding to get the 2 pointers. I have stock headers and borla exhaust. Thanks

do you plan on modding your car heavily? the 2 points go front to back but the 3 points go to the middle also......if u just plan on doing bolt ons you dont need 3 points

I see... well the 2 pointers are better than nothing for now. I wanna try bolt on 1st. I heard that the SFC will make the ride stiffer meaning that I will feel the road bumps and holes alot harder. That way I can just rmove them if I don't like it. Any input on this guys?

I'm going with 3-point bolt-ons- you can actually weld up the bolt ons if you later want to. And, yes, 2 pointers are fine. You'll notice the stiffness and sure you'll feel the bumps a little more, but it shouldn't be uncomfortable.

Thanks Beretta for the input. I'm doing the SFC and my bump stops. I need to do the ES ones since there is no stock one available. I'm also planning to do the non adjustable torque arm.

I keep going back and forth on the torque arm- adj or non. I'm just going to save up and when I finally decide on whether or not to change the ride-height I'll decide on which torque arm to get! No matter what, make sure you get the one that relocates it off the trans. That actually may help with some of the jarring in the bumps. Since the stock torque arm mounts to the trans, when the rear hits a bump the force can be felt into the trans, which is transferred to the trans mount which is mounted just under where you sit! If you put a poly trans mount in you feel every bit of it!

Pretty sure UMI, BMR and Spohn all make torque arms that get the front mounting off the tailshaft of the transmission and mount it to a cross-member.

If you plan on lowering your car, get an adjustable torque arm.

I just lowered the front with the eibach springs. I had HK springs or BMR's on the rear but it was scraping too much and it distryed my bump stops. So I removed them. I might even get new stock springs for the front in the future. I just got them because I got a great deal for them. The 2 front springs with monroe shocks for $30.

I see that spohn and UMI make one for about $390 with shipping. Is alittle more that the original one planned but I might just stick with current one get the SFC and then the torque arm. I have UMI panhard bar and LCA's. I think adding the SFC will be good until I can save some more for the torque arm.

Yes. Definitely add SFCs before you put a TA on.

nope, you need to keep the car loaded when installing them
