Spiller's gonna tear it up in buffalo. The only sure thing in the entire draft.
And on the Leaf/Russel situation, neither applied themselves, both were lazy and immature. I believe Russel's a better athlete, but Leaf was a better QB...Can go either way. I think Leaf's is bigger because he was the first "sure fire" qb to bust as badly as he did. Since him, there has been a few (akili smith, couch, carr, vick, losman, grossman etc)

carr and smith were in the same situation. looks like bradford will get no protection either. this is alex smith's first season with blockers and when healthy has shown solid improvements. i dont expect him to be anywhere near a top tier qb. he will be average if he continues to take steps forward. keyword if.

as a 9er fan i dont expect him to do will vs sf. a good D vs a rookie qb with a running back as his best target. i like stephen jackson seeing as how he is a vegas boy but having little protection and being the only weapon doesnt bode well for your team.
