polished, waxed, and de-bird/lettered the taillight center section, all 3 taillights, and sail panel triangles. Detailing is therapeutic (sp) to me, possible career choice maybe

I have a blue thread paste that I believe is fuel resistant. Your auto parts or hardware store should have some stuff in a tube that will work. Just need to read the labels to be sure. Originally Posted by wheeliE-maxx

I have a Jet Stage II Q-jet. So far, I am less than impressed with it. When I took it apart the first time to see if something was messing with the idle circuit, I found a small hole in the top plate. Had to seal it with epoxy.

After having a bunch of trouble I figured out that I have a 1978 model (had been using a too-short '72 filter). Mine has been rebuilt, has the plugs sealed up well, apt and idle screws exposed, brass float. The guy that built it was going to tune it, but Sean Murphy is supposed to be awesome and i'll know it's right
also, jet makes junk carbs and "chips"
