Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Had a steady day at work. Sang the Kenya song with my manager and Rage Guy. Then I started singing the crabs song and Rage Guy practically fell out laughing.

Random question for you college grads/people that have been accepted into college.
When you apply for a college, when they look at your official transcript with your grades on it, do they look at the indivisual quarter grades that you got, like for example, lets say i got a 2.50 1st quarter, 3.10 2nd quarter, 2.50 again 3rd quarter, like would they indivisually look at the grades that you got for the specific quarters for every year? Or do they just take a look at the final culmulative average for the 4 years that you are in high school?
Kind of confused on this, some clarification would be great.Last edited by Transamws6; 04-14-2010 at 06:13 PM.

The cumulative score will overall be the most important factor.
However they can look at each year as well (Don't know if they'd go so far as individual semesters or quarters).
So two different scenarios could result:
9th grade: 2.0
10th grade: 2.5
11th grade: 3.5
12th grade: 4.0
The admissions board might think "It looks like this kid matured and got his act together, lets give him a shot"
OR
9th grade: 4.0
10th grade: 3.5
11th grade: 2.5
12th grade: 2.0
In this case they might think "This guy just kept slacking off... is this the type of person we want to accept into our institution of higher learning?"
Same cumulative GPA, two different decisions. It matters.

Thanks man.
Yea, I kind of messed up a little this quarter, which is sort of why I asked. I was a BIG slacker back in 9th/10th grade though until like 3rd quarter when my Dad started talking to me about being able to drive my own car for my junior year if I got my grades up.
My freshmen year I had like a 2.43 culmulative or some shit, 10th grade I had like a 2.15 culmulative or something terrible like that, I would have had worse in 10th grade if I didn't get my act together in the 2nd half of the year. This year (11th grade) I'm 100% sure I'll end up with a 3.0 culmulative since I've maintained that same GPA pretty much all year, I've grown up a bit since 9th and 10th grade, I think it's pretty safe to say.
I'm still kind of on the edge though, my grades still aren't top notch, I'll most likely end up at some kind of state university at best, I regret being a retard during the first 2 years of high school because I kind of shut myself out from certain oppurtunities, but you know, hopefully things work out in the end, i've just got to keep working hard through my senior year and see what happens.
But thanks again for the help man.
