100%, twice over. 02-08 is a much better truck in every way, styling isn't my favorite but the new ram is even better

There sure were alot of 385 horsers forsale pretty cheap after that.
i'd kill for an '01 Z, they will be the most sought after in years to come, regardless of power, being the first z06 since the 1960's.

and regardless of power numbers in the best of the big three, the Camaro will always have the most swagger and respect. i dare say the convertible models up for grabs soon will be one of the biggest chick magnets of all time.

Read up on some mustang forums, those cars are really not respected at all, the 4th gens, yes, 5th gens, no.

But i agree with you on the convertible part, i bet girls will love those things.

5th gens don't even have swagger on this site I thought the 'vert concept looked better than the production coupe, but all the prototypes have the big guy with a tiny head look to me still

of all the 5th gens here i have yet to see a female driven SS, (and trust me, i've been looking for a soul mate,) much less a high price SS convertible when they are availiable,

i'm sure there will be one or two prissy daddy issue sluts cruising v6 verts here, buuut the likelyness of seeing them in a droptop 8 is low

I heard about ford making their own diesel A few months ago from my neighbor( a ford certified diesel tech) he said that the powerstrokes(powerjoke as he calls them) are all garbage. He also said he is also waiting to see what kind of crap the new diesel will do as far as breaks ect. From what I seen everytime a car company makes their own diesel it sucks. vw is an exception as far as I know. I wanted GM to pick cat to build the new diesels whe they dropped the last company but they picked Izuzu, it seems to have been a good move and now mercedes owns cat,or something like that.

I thought Cat had built a diesel for GM in the past and it sucked more balls than Shines.
At a company luncheon at work one of the Furd reps was saying the new diesel was proving itself well for reliability so far anyway. We'll see but I doubt its possible to build bigger pieces of shit than what the 6.0 and 6.4 have been

Oh for challenger to be in the competition they need to lighten the car up quite a bit.It is way to heavy for any real competition with ford (ow that hurt to say) or GM. Like many of you said charger needs to be a 2 door,or at least have the 2 door as an option. The ideal move for chrysler to make would be make the Dart again,ONLY IN 2 DOOR. make it about the size and weight of the mustang, with better handling and indipendant suspension all the way around. Then drop a hemi in that bastard. I would base it of the 68 and 69 body style, maybe combo how the lights looked between the 2 hell even having the signal lights on the top of the fender would be cool to see again. They can have a smaller v8 and a v6 in them as well . the hemi could be the GTS (drop the srt crap) the smaller v8 a swinger and the v6 just a dart.

I was up at the dealership a couple months ago helping my dad look for a new car and while looking at some of the Camaros a hot ass girl probably in her early 20s is lookiing at them with her dad. The sales guy ask why she wanted one and her response was b/c they look badass.

Detroit built the 6.2's and 6.5's if that's what you're referring to. They were for economy, not running 14's then towing a house on wheels.

None of this will happen in my opinion. The challenger is in the right spot I think. A comfortable roomy car. Not an uncomfortable pig
to clarify, it's the heaviest of them all, but has the comfort and room that a big car should. Looks the best too

That would be a sad day. I hope that doesn't happen. The Challenger is the best looking car out there right now. If I wanted a new car, that would be it.

The challenger isn't built to compete with these cars... sure it's a 2 door rwd pony style car. But look at the production numbers and cost. If they sell the their quota and are making money, then why try to compete with cars costing 1000s less. Even back in the 70s they made no where near the numbers as chevy/ford. And that's a big reason I was always into them. I may see one challenger a week around here, compared to 20 mustangs/camaros.

agreed, but/and also just like back in the day they have the lowest build quality and will probably have the lowest reliability of the three as as well.

In my post I was referring to the early 90's change in styling. Dodge went from a tired old styling they had kept since the truck came on scene to a new and modern appeal. IMHO if Dodge hadn't change their truck styling in the 90's they wouldn't have been around much after that.

I just wish they wouldn't have gone for the "MAC TRUCK' look If I wanted a truck to look like that,,,well,,,I'd buy a big rig.

yeah, and relying on that one truck led to their second government bailout
