I wonder if they would fit newer birds?

We're starting to see more second gens at area car shows. I've always been a fan of the snowflakes -- wheels make or break a lot of cars.

I like the snowflakes way better.
These are the only 2 kind of aftermarket wheels i'd put on an F-body.
CCW classics- http://media.photobucket.com/image/c...s/RPbeach7.jpg
And of course American Racing Torq Thrust II's, no need for a link, everyone knows what those look like.
If i couldn't get one of those, the wheels on my f-body would just stay stock, no other wheel looks as good as the 2 i stated imo.

They are sharp -- don't remember seeing those on any cars in our Board's photo threads though.

buddy of mine bought one of the King Motors ripoff HPI Baja 5t trucks on ebay. its a nice lookin' truck but he toasted both throttle and steering servos with some water. I directed him towards these ones. Links will be from tower, purchased on ebay.
Hitec HS 805BB (343oz/in @ 6.0v) for steering
Hitec HS 645mg (133oz/in @ 6v) for throttle/brake duty.
Good choices?

Steering seems nice, .2 is slow for the throttle

He'll need it
He doesn't race, just a basher/breaker. I have a couple of the 645mg's in my 1.9 crawler and they work alright for that, I thought for price/power that it might be a good piece for him. The ones that come in the 'replicas' have NO numbers, names or markings on them, and nowhere can you find out what kind of power they put out. Somewhere i found a few specs on the servos, but they were astronomical, like 400oz/in on the steering and like 200+ on the throttle, definitely overrated.

For the price you can't beat "bluebird" servos.

I've seen them around.
Been asking about break-in on my new piston/sleeve I've got coming. The factory settings are long gone on my carb, and the damn thing is so old its been discontinued for quite a few years now, I still have the original instructions and they're also online, but there are no break-in settings listed. Just the text "dont fuck with the carb its set for breakin at the factory".That's handy since The thing was already tuned once before the old piston/sleeve took a shit.
Somebody on another forum is trying to get me to 'heat cycle' the motor. Basically pre-heating it and running it like 12 times before even letting it loose.
