FORT DODGE, Iowa (AP) — A Fort Dodge teenager has been sentenced to 90 days in jail as part of a plea arrangement after he was accused of stabbing a man.

Seventeen-year-old Bryce Gully was sentenced on Monday after pleading guilty to charges of assault and willful injury. Gully was accused in the stabbing of a man during a struggle in July.

Defense attorney James Koll has previously said Gully was attempting to defend himself from an attack when a third person hit the victim, causing a wound that was mistaken for a knife cut.

Gully was acquitted of first-degree murder last year in the 2008 shooting death of Matthew Huffman.

The judicial system is so fucked. But its nothing new, just one more thing to bitch about.

that's how it should be. But, as it is now, they're serving a few years and being let out to re offend

At this point, I'd be happy if they would be put away for life. Prison isn't a happy place for those that commit rape or are child molestors

Perhaps a lifetime of being f'd with is just as fitting.

It's not about her being special. How would you feel if it was your wife or mother or sister with videos posted all over the Internet? It's just wrong. Period.

I know what it's like to have a stalker. You can't even go about your day without wondering if someone is watching you. Every where you go, you see that guy looking your way and wonder if it's him. Everyone that looks your way you question. You're not comfortable anywhere. It sucks.

It's a matter of violating someones privacy. It's a feeling that takes a long time to get over. If you ever do.

And, do we really live in an era that when people get spy cammed all the time that it's alright? No big deal?

We're not saying we wouldn't be pissed if it was our mom's/wives'/girlfriends. I just know that if it happened to one of them, the dirtbag would only get 30 days in jail or some sort of stupid suspended sentence. The man in question got 2.5 years only because the person he filmed was on TV. Did he deserve it, yes, however far worse crimes don't get the punishment like the one handed out here.

Well, with any luck, maybe that's about to change and stronger sentences will be the norm. There is always that one case that is referred to and then becomes the standard for future cases...
