Thread: more earthquakes...

2012 is just going to be another year. Earthquakes and other natural shit happens all the time. But when it gets media attention it's all a sudden an epidemic? That's ignorant nonsense. On the 12th of December or whatever, something will happen...... Something always happens. Just the public doesn't really know of it, unless the media brings it to our attention.

so you know more than the hopi indians, mayan's, nostrodamus, etc etc??? sure they are ancient and what not but you can't deny their attention to detail and the remarkable coincidenses... all predict a "change" not "the end of the world" like most numb nuts think will happen... frequent earthquakes in random spots is something to be concerned about...

I see your point, change is the biggest thing about this.. But it sure as hell isnt the end of the world...
I look at it like this..
How was this earth made... Earthquakes, plate tectonics, volcanoes and other shit like that..... Thats is how land was made... .. i mean All the Continents were once together.... Pangea, right? So in order for this world to work, you gotta have earthquakes and land changes, disasters.. and such..
Now, with this said, a lot of things happened BEFORE it was largely populated by people. Thus, never hurt people or buildings... This world becomes more populated every day, and people move and spread out, so most places where a natural disaster may or could occur will most likely be populated and developed. There will always be major destruction in this world..It sucks sometimes, people get hurt which is truly upsetting, but there is nothing that can be done. Thats the Earth.... Just how the cookie crumbles..

lol I know. That's what I'm trying to say. With all these earthquakes nothing changed yet everyone things it's like the end of the world. These quakes happen whether the area is populated by people or not. It becomes a tragety when lots of people die. But that's to be expected in most natural disasters because the earth is so populated.
I was trying to compaire population now from when quakes had happened before when it was not so populated.... They do in fact always happen. The Earth has cycles.. It ages, it changes.

The string of high magnitude earthquakes happening right now is cause for concern because of the population size. Of course. We all know it's been going on since the beginning. That's a no brainier.
My concern is how these are going to affect my area in the near future because the activity is stronger and more frequent than it has been in a while
Is it a sign of the end times? Who knows. But, I'm not happy when the ground under my feet throws me to the floor and things crash on my head. It makes me cranky
