cause shell is the only brand i like, that or Loves gas stations' gas. i also use the lucas additive that you can bulk buy for like $10 at oreillys, just for backup

ps dont buy valero, everyone i go to has made me run funny, my mom bought some in sanantonio and had water in it,

Talk to a dyno tuner they have had bad knock retard on cars running shell v power or do a search here there are a few threads about this topic and shell was a poor performer

yeah watch out for octane boosters claims & labels, they like to say things like: "raises octane by 2 points" - but I believe it takes 10 points to equal one increase in total octane rating - so you'd need to add 5 bottles of boost just to increase from 87 octane to 88 octane - clearly not worth the price - total

they raise your octane rating by 0.1... they are a complete rip off...

Your Right about valero (they are a bunch of crooks!) never again good thing i only put about 10 bucks in my bird but 91 or higher is what she needs U can't cut corners with a finely tuned specimen lol.

93 mobil is what i put in my car i dont like shell as it burn to fast now that they changed it with that v-power crap. it was better the old way imo. also there is a good wright up in high pro. ponitac i think on octane boosters. they are all junk and dont do any thing. its beter to mix race gas and pump then to use them.
