Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Trans Am
premium. 91 or higher. The compression ratio is too hight to run anything lower.

Do an internet search for top tier gasoline, have had good success with brands on top tier list.

93. it's a noticeable difference if you run regular. i did it by accident once, and never will again.

what about using octane boost if there is no premium?
-

No premium? Some octane "boost"ers are a farce not to mention the so called boost would end up costing more per fill up than a tank of premium. Also some octane boosters can be damaging to your engine.. Your computer will compansate(sp) for the lack of octane by changing timing to the detrement(sp) of performance when running cheap gas.. I run Shell or Exxon 93 only..

Black- 99 WS.6 - Modified
104 octane - cam 2! lol. Gotta go with at least 91. 93 if you can find it.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

Wow...I guess I'm lucky to be in MD...I've never seen 91 octane, only 93.

yeah watch out for octane boosters claims & labels, they like to say things like: "raises octane by 2 points" - but I believe it takes 10 points to equal one increase in total octane rating - so you'd need to add 5 bottles of boost just to increase from 87 octane to 88 octane - clearly not worth the price - total
