I've been to Cozumel once before, when I was 13 or so with my parents. I imagine this time might be slightly different.
95 is perfect for me.
I came home to a cold apartment after going to Atlanta for the night this past weekend, and found a post-it note from my weird roommates stuck to the thermostat which said "Please don't turn the heat on above 72 degrees while we're away for the weekend for the health of our pet [Which by the way, is unregistered with the landlord, no permit], heat + humidity = dead chinchilla
[whatever the fuck that is, sounds like something I would order from taco bell]"
I responded by leaving a post-it note that said simply "people > animals" and proceeded to turn the heat back up to 80.

Suggestion: If you are particularly irritated by another member's posting habits and are constantly fighting the urge to flame them, you can click on that person's profile, and select "Add to ignore list." This will make that person's posts invisible to you.

Ohhh yeah it should be a blast! I've never been on any kind of trip with a friend. Going to DC to see my boyfriend next week will be my first time traveling not with the family or for performances.
I can't wait till summertime cuz it will be warm and pool-like weather and tanning! Winter sucks. Anything below 76 degrees is cold to me lol

It's been relatively mild here in Denver. But we always seem to get a big snow storm in March/April.
2 weeks and my spring break will be spent in Vegas! Woo-hoo!

Cozumel is nothing special still if you were expecting change, but that doesn't really matter when you're getting wasted on spring break

They have good hygiene, don't burn things, and don't seem to be PETA types, but yeah, they are kinda weird. They hardly ever talk (it's a couple living in one bedroom), they seem to be some sort of emo/punk/goth/something types (haven't quite figured it out), oh and the dude has snakebites. So yeah, weird I guess.
You live in the north though, you should expect it
I've always wanted to go to DC. A friend of mine is working at an internship there and she's loving it. Too cold for me though right now, I'd rather go in the summer.
I dunno. I was wearing tshirt/jeans/shoes and I was shivering. Perhaps my thermostat reads wrong, or the heating isn't working properly (either of these wouldn't be surprising, considering the age/condition of my apt. complex), or maybe my emotional hatred for the cold has manifested itself into a severe physiological detriment to my cold tolerance.
Only if they try to talk to me. I'm like,
"Why are you talking to me? Go be fat on someone else's time.
Well your annoyance of my annoyance makes me less annoyed, so...
and the world became peaceful once again.
How do you mean, 'expecting change'? Change from what, from when I visited previously or from where I currently am in Georgia?
I loved it there when I was 12/13, we did loads of cool shit (But my dad was there footing the bill
).
Of course it will be different now, considering I'm with friends, there's no parents, I'm an adult (in a legal sense, maturity is another matter), my views and perceptions have changed, I'll be seeking vagine, and I won't have as much financial freedom. But I still expect to have a great time.

I dunno, must have brain farted, thought you wondered if anything changed. It's cool, just a tourist town. They have relaxed their drug laws recently

I'm also annoyed at stanky people. K is apparently the arab last name room for our standardized test, which I also happen to be in. Then a couple of standard Houston moo cows thrown in the mix. So it smelled like arm pit, currie, and flap cheese. I was not pleased
INB4: racist, idgaf. My friend from Saudi was in the room and makes fun of his people more than meLast edited by wheeliE-maxx; 03-03-2010 at 08:54 PM.

It won't be fun, it's cold as hell and way too many damn people + the people are grade A assholes, you will want to take your bf back to texas with you im sure within a few days. The sights and little shops get old after a while.
And god help you if happen to get on one of the train lines and get lost, or don't remember the name of your stop, you'll end up in some ghetto and will be lost forever, ask me how I know.

I've been there once before and have seen all the tourist attractions... I can't bring him back because he's in the Army there..... Honestly... We aren't planning on going out much
I haven't seen him since Christmas... So I'm sure you know where I'm going with that ...
The only things we are going to do outside the apartment is like go see movies, go to the shooting range... Maybe some museums... And maybe a free tour of the capital.... I think he has some plans in store but he wants most to be a surprise.
I'm taking him out to dinner for his birthday, and making him a very good breakfast. Most of the time I'm there we just want to cool out with each other. Cuz we don't know when the next time we will be able to see each other again
Also sorry to hear about your adventures of the public transit system
he has a car and also doesn't want me to get put in possible dangerous situations while I'm out there
