The corrections.....
Update: While in the procsess of getting my money back on the FAILED delivery of my new heads, what pulls into their lot???

My cylinder heads literally pull in while I'm standing there... Only thing on the truck... Go figure eh? Anyways my new breathing equiptment for my motor has arrived...
I'll add them to "Something in blue" after they get a good looking over and painted... Ahhhh finally ps. I also got about 150 bucks knocked of the retail.. Not too shabby huh?

Nice! You mentioned in the other thread that these are the SC heads. Do you give up a little compression with the new ones versus the current heads?

Nope because I did not change to L67 pistons as well. I may loose or gain slightly but it is easy to have it tuned for it. The new L67 heads have better and more open water jackets than the original L36's from my engine. Slightly larger valves and I believe better face angle IIRC, stiffer springs.. Not to mention they will flow better than the L36 N/A heads.. I'm thinking of maybe a mild porting, or possibly just enough polishing to exact the CC's across the board..

Apearantly according to carpy (gtp 231) the SC heads have injector holes in them. But mine do not so now I'm stumped on what to do..

As I stated in the PA members thread the show will go on. No difference in head design with the exception of holes for the injectors. Looks like after a moment to consider what dirrection to go in I'm going to have to use a centrifical SC mounted somewhere with the accessories..

Again as stated in the PA members thread, to port or not, and to build custom headers or not to build.. Knowing the gains will not be substantial..

Update....
While fooling around under the hood I accidently spilled a large glass of water down over the windshield. (Smittro wipes brow) Luckily it was only water however as I continued with my rethink of the wiring to my coils I discovered that the spilled water was dripping down past the weather strip. About where the two halves of the plastic cowl cover come together. This was dripping into my open valley, but I also noticed that I also had a good bit dripping out from above where the valve cover and coil packs would be. The middle coil controls #5 which was throwing an intermittent misfire code. So with that I curiously desided to check the center coil.. Sure enough dead pin for #5 plug wire! Go figure.. Oh well, in for a dime in for $1200.00 I always say ..haha

Funny thing is had I not spilled the water I would'nt have found this out till after everything was back together. I'd be standing there scratching my head like WTF.
But hey guess who has a spare set of heads now..hehehe

I'm putting her new shoes on this week I think. Gotta detail her soon too so I can get up new pics with the ZR's and custom exhaust, and engine paint work..
