Yah. I took the car to the shop that tuned it. The mechanic told me that since the car is my daily and I drive it in the snow I may have worn out the oil in the diff and that I should change the oil every 15k. He doesn't think I damaged the diff tho. If I did, he will look/repair it.

Only reason I've ever changed that shit (like 5 times) was busted c-clips in a 9.25 dodge we were trying to nurse/quiet down until they could put another junk rebuild in under warranty. Wish I had that truck. It would've quicky received the 4.56's and trutrac it deserved

I haven't beat on the car at all. I initially thought the output shaft bearing was worn causing the noise. The guy told me he didn't initially hear the noise, but the longer he drove it the more louder the noise got, which, to him, was diff related as the IRSs hold less fluid than a normal solid axle. Plus the GTO diff has clutches, not gears.
Methinks once I get my income tax money, I will buy a Tru-Trac. Been thinkin about that for a long time.

I checked the fluid a few days ago and it was full. A little leaked out while the drain plug was out and MAN it stunk up two bays at my job.
