It does work in the real world.

There are billions of females in the world = Flooded market.

However so many guys, as soon as they get just one female to pay attention to them, are so estatic that they forget their intrinsic, primitive qualities (Think Alpha male) and put the pussy on the pedestal and grovel at the females feet. This causes the females to get (incorrectly, I must add) a heightened sense of self-worth, self-image, and entitlement = Overvalued.
