Work was a clusterskroo. My asst manager is an EEDIOT!!! Jag was towed in for having two driver's side flats. Welp, as I was removing the lug nuts, the chrome caps came off. Kinda like the Chryslers and older GM vehicles. The asst manager apparently fed the customer some random B.S. and pissed him off to the point he asked me what the problem was with his car. I told him the problem and he called the regional manager who asked to speak with me over the phone after speaking with the asst manager. I told the regional manager what the problem was and he laughed and said:

"WAIT A MINUTE...PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY BUYING THESE CARS WITH CRAPPY LUG NUTS??!! THESE CARS ARE LIKE $30-$40K!!"

I then told him of my misadventures with Cuervo and these Jaguar X-Types and the regional understood and thanked me. Then he wanted to speak with the customer directly. After I finished the Jag, I brought in a Prius for a synthetic oil change. The asst manager wrote "QS SYN" for Quaker State Synthetic...but she didn't write down the type(Q-HORSEPOWER or PREMIUM PROTECTION) of synthetic. I asked her IN FRONT OF THE JAG OWNER, the owner of the Jag gave her this--> and the owner of the Prius told me he wanted the Premium Protection. I left the asst manager looking like a tool on the salesfloor. For someone who took a course on auto technology, the asst manager is really lost on technical aspects.

My vapors ran out on Tuesday. I've had less than an hour of sleep each night since saturday and I missed the superbowl. I'm taking adderall (my own, no DEA) and energy drinks and noxplode to stay awake. I still have a formal lab report, a presentation, and reading most of two books to do. I haven't felt this dead in a long time. After getting out of my exam today I felt like Denzel Washington in that scene from Inside Man, where he's standing still but moving through the crowd/crime scene as if he were gliding an inch off the ground, oblivious to everything else around him. When I got home I remembered I had promised my friend I would go out with her tonight to drink, and all I felt was anger at the possibility of having to do something else other than sleep, and disappointment in letting friends down one more time out of numerous times due to schoolwork. I can't even remember where I was going with this post.

I dunno if Ford would dump Volvo as the Taurus and Focus are built on Volvo chassis. But I could be wrong.
