100 : 1 is pretty heavy, but just as you found out, not going to be detrimental....

I figure it just cleaned it really quick...I'm definitely backing off on the mix to see what happens to my economy vs seat of the pants feel. I drive my truck like a bent nail, so when I got 16.75 mpg, I just about soiled myself.

Just thought i'd chime in. I have a 2001 s2000 that burns oil terribly bad. Now, while the 2.0L s2k is widely known to burn oil, i'm talking a Honda engine with 50k miles that burns 1 quart every 800 miles. Also the gas mileage is pretty terrible, it gets under 20 mpg when it should get something closer to 22-24 mpg in the city driving it does every day.

I have started adding this and noticed a large drop in the oil it burns (i only had to add 1/4 of a quart after 800 miles!) and gas mileage has gone up about 2 mpg.

This is impressive, especially on a Honda engine which is known to burn clean, no sludge, etc.

Ok, just filled up again. This time I posted 15.02 mpg. Quite a ways down from the mpg I got at 100:1, but I was romping on it pretty hard this tank.
The first 200 miles of this tank appears to have gotten to the same mark on the gauge as last tank, but the next 100 miles I put on this tank was pretty much all out pedal to the floor and redline shifts.

Considering the way I drive...still not complaining at 15 mpg.

Be careful and do not compare or test against winter blend and summer blend. Just an FYI.

I have an OCD streak in me, so I have been using the same gas station and even the same pump for awhile now. How do I know if they are running winter or summer blend? Do we get winter blend down here in Houston?

Just put another 300 miles in, this time mostly highway, and got 16.63 mpg.
I'm impressed with how powerful the top end pulls now. It had gotten to where it was feeling a bit gutless up top, but now it just pulls from 70 to 100+

We just went through a long stretch of cold weather, where 0*F would be considered a warm day, and lots of snow, so 4WD was used quite a bit. Because of this, my last tank only yielded 12.67 mpg, mostly city.

But even through the cold, having the oil mixed in with the gas definitely quieted the engine during cold starts. I like the fact that the oil gives a little bit of protection until the regular engine oil starts flowing.

i've been trying this for the last year and have nothing negative to report.
i was hoping to see some improvement in the carbon build up in my egr system. i have a 2004 oddysey. prior to starting this i pulled my intake manifold cover off and cleaned the caked up carbon off the metalic gasket and molded gas vent lines on the intake cover. i did not remove and clean the intake manifold itself(not yet anyways). as i said, i have been running this test for about a year now and just finished checking the same areas for carbon buid up. there is still some build up, but not as bad as before, but then again, this was one year vrs 5 yrs of build up.
i am not experiencing any issues with my egr system (as oddyseys have in the past) and hope that this is a preventative measure. other that that i would say that it runs smoother and starts relativly easy as well. my mpg has allways been right where its suposed to be based upon the type of driving i do.
Sarge, if you have anything on this i would appreciate it.
i don't expect miracle cures in a bottle but i do believe that this is a great way to combat"dry gas" and clean up the rings and fuel delivery system as you state.

Your engine oil will never have any effect on the fuel system, you are lubricating/cleaning with this gas additive the fuel system only.

Wow Sarge thx for all the research/test that you do all the time and for sharing it with us. I'm going to try this today. So I add the 2 stroke oil everytime I add gas to the car or everytime I almost run empty? I'm trying to understand if I have to add it everytime I put fuel in the vehicle regardless of how much fuell it is. Also will this help with the fuel pump whinning noise when it gets hot?(like your post about UCL) I tried marvel mystery but no luck. Maybe I need to start thinking about a new fuel pump. Thanks.
