oh i plan to. When the girl hit me i noticed that my center console lid was twisted from my arm being right there during the 360 spin. I called up the shop because i didnt see it on the estimate, and the guy was kind of blunt with me. He told me " you're walking a fine line between them totaling the car, and they will". I didnt really think a console lid hinge/spring would determine the totaling of my car, but oh well. He said they have to get a supplement, and then after they take the car apart and get the supplement, whatevers left they can kind of use for the little stuff. I went to the doctors yesterday, and he sent me to get an x ray. the xray came back fine, they called me n said i have no breaks or fractures. He also said it would take about 2-3 weeks to fix the car. I'll have to take one of my rims that came with the car down to replace the rim they're gonna replace the broken one with, so i can get that powdercoated to match the others. So soon once i know the car wont be totaled, I can finally order my tires, pads, new shift knob, and shifter boot ring from farmer.

I also think im gonna take the car in a new direction. Im thinking of redoing my color schemes. Black/flat black. I'd get the hood bird again, but in flat black. Take off the side moldings or get them in a flat black. Same with the front bird/ rear pontiac. Then, black outs for the drl's, fog lights, and taillights. What do you guys think? or does anyone have pics of a flat black with a clear

Sound interesting. I have seen the flat colors on street rods and a few 60's muscle cars, but never a late model. The bird shall rise again. Keep us posted.

i have to call a few of the decal places. I had liked the black reflective from 3rdgen decals, where it goes from black to gold, but i like the flat black look. I wonder if anyone has done their interior in flat black? like a matte?

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Well, Big Guns has matte stripes on his WS6 and they look sick. So matte should do your car justice once you decide on your ideas.

I'm gonna talk to the shop about maybe just repainting the car completely. I know it would cost another 2G or so. Here's the pic of the matte black. Between here and tech, there's alot of people interested in the matte/flat black look. Ive heard names like john deere black, hot rod black, ect. I'd get matte black with a high sheen to it. anyway here's a pic of a trans maro

I'd want mine to look just like that. Then do the black hood bird outline, or maybe filled, in a flat black on top

Im still working on it. I might not put the side emblems back on . I'm debating on rear and front blackouts. I have everything blacked out except the rims on the vette, and it looks pretty good. I know less is more, and you can go overboard, So im just feeling things out for now
