5 Mountain Lions-Wyoming

They have them in Va as well, at least where I lived. Went hunting after work one night ,shot a deer . since it was getting dark I went home dropped off the rifle and grabbed a flashlight not knowing cougars was in the state. went back out there and tracked the deer until I hear the most horrifying scream and seen the cougar with what was my deer. I slowly walked backwards telling it that he could keep the deer. When i got home again dad was ther and I asked him. he told me the turned them loose in the next county back in the 70's or 80's to help control the deer population but kept hush hush about it. 1 scared the holy shit out of me, if there was 5 I would die right there of severe heart failure.

my shorts would definitely be a different color after an experience like that!

My asshole was squeezed so tight I couldn't even fart if I wanted. We had bears,yotes,foxes,and bobcats,all of them with a great healthy fear of humans. That cat however would have killed anyone or anything (except the bears) that came near it's dinner or that it seen as possible dinner. After that no matter how close to or how long after dark it was the rifle stayed with me.At least I would be alive to recive a ticket.

Doesn't surprise me to hear they are in Nebraska.

I've got family there, and that state is over ran with deer, so if the big cats are there, they've got plenty to eat.

What the hell do you do in that situation? I for one would not wanna kill it if I didnt have to, but thats so freakin dangerous that the cat is that tame too. What if someone unexpectedly is walking around the house or something and walks up on that cat? The cat could feel threatened and whoever is near it is pretty much straight fucked. You also dont just happen to have tranquilizers on hand either, and you could bet on it that the local police would be fuckin clueless. The cat wasnt bothering anybody but it definitely cant just take over the deck either lol
