I honestly was dreading everything about this trip....from the food to the flight. Surprisingly though, it was an overall good trip that was a great experience. The food was "a lot" different, but I almost liked everything I ate. Also got to sharpen up on my chop stick skills

I would encourage anyone to travel abroad, just for the experience if not anything else. I was fortunate to have my place of employment pay for everything, otherwise I probably would have never seen these things.

I thought the exact same thing when looking at it earlier.

But then I realized it was because she has more Caucasian features than the others, and I felt bad, so I didn't post anything

I flew United, but my seat was economy. Standard protocol now on all flights. We used to have business class for all international flights, but with the economy in the state it is, everything is being cut right now in an attempt to try to save more jobs.

On the way back I was upgraded for free to a bulk head economy plus seat, so I had tons of leg room. Either way, 13.5 hrs on a plane sucks.

Well guess what? You got it...I'm back on a plane to China again in the AM. I have a 12:20PM flight leaving for Beijing and then a connecting flight to Changsha City. This trip will be very short. I am hoping to be back in the states by Saturday.

Shit that is a lot of flying in 5 days!

I'll post pics again if I come across anything interesting.

Last night here. Flying back in the morning. Not looking forward to 2.5 hrs on a plane to get to Beijing, then a 2 hours layover, then 13 hrs to Chicago. I'll be happy to be home though.

Not too many pics this time around. Wasn't much to see here at this city. And between getting sick and being in meetings all day, I didn't really feel like venturing off to see what I could find other than your local grocery mart.
