Is the new camaro real heavy compared to the 4th gen?

5th gen LS auto: 3769 lb - LS man: 3780 lb

I googled avg weight for LS1 4th gen and it said 3420lbs. I weighed mine 3290lbs w/ 1/2 tank.

So yeah, they're (5th gen) pigs.

no its my dads bu they suprisd me and my brother because they didnt want us knowing but ya id does some heavier...quite a bit heavier

I wish I could talk my dad into racing me just for shits and giggles. Albeit he doesn't have a 5th Gen. He has a stock '72 'Vette Stingray. I know I'd beat him but I'm curious as to how bad. I think he's just scared!

Not the first time I've heard of the new camaros not putting up impressive numbers. Quite a shame GM couldn't find a way to shave a few pounds before sending it down the line. I had the opportunity to run one, but my Z was 50 miles away and I didn't feel like taking 2 1/2 hours fighting through traffic just to go get it and bring it up. I'm anxious to run into one when the weather gets warm. Hopefully we'll see a few at the track when it opens up!

Let us know how this race turns out, you know your dad wants to do it deep down

I thought it added to the story nicely

She was with another girl and I was told they were. I don't normally believe everything I hear obviously, but she looked like she hated men.

My dads thinking about trading in his 2010 SS for the Z28 sport is already going to start offering orders or so im told

The best stock time posted by a real world owner i have seen is a 12.82, and i saw a couple just under 12.9, like 12.87.

I guess DA and track conditions, along with driver would make up for these differences. I haven't seen one yet in real life cut lower than a mid 13 seconds.

Hopefully I come across one come spring so I can put it to the test because I know what I run down the track.
