They're cute little fluffballs
Our older poodle and Lumi have had a few tiffs over food bowls, mainly because Micki (the older poodle) thinks all food bowls are his. Doesn't matter if they're 8ft apart and at different angles, he still tries to hoard them both. Lumi's got a double coat so there's never been any injury. It's kinda funny watching him try to cover both bowls. I would like to know why poodles have to eat over a rug? Micki takes one bite of food, walks three feet across the room to the kitchen sink rug to chew. It's so neurotic and he's not the only poodle we have that does that.

All my dogs do that! For breakfast, they all get a mixture of sliced baby carrots, shredded chicken and broth and some brown rice. they gobble that up. But, during the day, they have kibble set out and they all grab a mouth full throughout the day and bring it into the living room, drop it there and eat each kibble one by one

Silly dogs

Here's 2 Rotties and my little Pitt.
The Female Rottie is my girlfriend's dog, she CLINGS to her, orginally a rescue, and taken within 24 hours of being put down, her name is Roxy and she is almost ALL muscle. Originally she didn't take to me very well, always cautious, uneasy, and unsure, but in the last 2 years, she has turned into a totally different loveable girl. She won't even let me gf go to the bathroom alone. And if anyone gets off the couch to what she thinks is a little too fast, she LEAPS over to my gf in protection mode, LOL. Probably atop the prettiest of all female rotties I've come across. Not sure if she's german, but I took her to a reputable breeder and they said she may be mixed with some english? I thought there were only German and American, but who knows? I call her "Stupid" because the tip of her tongue almost always hang out and she looks dumb (in a cute way).

So we went to advance one day to get oil and a filter for the Yukon, had Rox with us, and a guy came up to us, complimenting us about our "great lookin' rott" and said he had one at home, was moving, and couldn't find a home for him. Not really wanting another one, he begged us and said if he couldn't find a home for him, he would have to turn him over to the local kill shelter. Not being one to let ANY animal go to one, I went to look at him, introduced the 2 rotties on neutral territory, and the rest is history. It's like husband and wife the way they play, and "argue". He's my favorite because he's big, and ALWAYS watching! Come to find out, he had to live in a garage for almost 2 years because the guy that had him before us was a roomate renter, and the owner didn't want the dog inside. Rottweilers are already notorious for having hip dysplasia, and his hips are definately not the greatest because of this. But he knows "wanna go swimming?" and "you wanna go for a ride?", and when he hears this, all the sudden hip problems go out the window, jumping all over the place. He's my favorite! His name is Randy, but I call him Buck and Dickhead. Picture was taken in the 18" snow storm we recently had. He's probably standing in about 5 or 6 inches if I had to guess. He's a big boy though, 120lbs worth, with big ole' head on him.

And of course, little PittBull named Reba. SUPPOSEDLY 14 months old when we got her, and had been seperated from her freshly born littler at 4 weeks when I called to inquire about her from a local single-mother. Information sounded to me like it didn't add up, and something was wrong. Especially seeing as how you're not supposed to seperate the mother from her puppies that early. Went to look at her, she was cold and wet on a garage floor, and EXTREMELY timid! Almost as if she was used for breeding and the lady didn't want her anymore. So I COULD NOT leave her. Took her home, gave her a bath, bought her food and water bowls, a leash. The first 2 weeks were insane, tearing up the house, eating out of the trash, VERY timid about coming back inside after being let out to do her business, but she finally came around. I let all 3 out one day after gettin' back from the lake and pulled the boat in the backyard. I was securing the tires before I un-hooked the trailer, and I hear feet moving FAST toward the backfence. As soon as I turned around to walk over I heard my little Boo-Boo growling but an attack-like growl. I started running and as soon as I did, it stopped, and a cat jumped over the fence and hauled ass. Duno what happened to the cat, but that's the only problem I've had with her since. Her nicknames are Boo-Boo and "Killer"

And here's my favorite picture of both of my rotties, taken at my mother's old house 2 Turkey Days ago with the gf. She didn't have any make-up on, hates this picture says it makes her look fat, and would kill me if she found I posted it on the internet, but ah well

Very pretty face on him
Beautiful. I've always loved the look of Collies and Shelties.
That's a great picture. He is very reagal looking. And... you don't look Chinese
No packet. I make about 3-5 lb chicken and broth a week or so for them. Buy the baby peeled carrots and slice them up a few each and make them brown rice as well. Every morning, I measure out their kibble (according to dog size) slice up the carrots and throw in between one and two tbsp each of rice, broth and chicken, throw it in the microwave for 1 minute on 50%, mix it up in each bowl and breakfast is served.
Sometimes I wish I never would have started doing that. But, breakfast is their favorite time of the day because of it and if I don't do it... the looks on their faces are pathetic. So... now I kind of have too
All great looking dogs! It's really nice you were able to take in rescues and give them the love and affection needed to make them feel safe and secure. They always return the favor!
Dogs are awesome
