>Dad takes me to the garage
>I nearly piss my pants in anticipation
>Unveils piece of shit rusty ass '69 Camaro with no engine
>Throw a fit because I'm a fucking bitch
>Says we're going to work on it for the next few years
>17 years old, Christmas
>Car is not even close to being done
>Dad gives me no gift, says I can't appreciate shit which is true.
>20 years old, halfway through University. Dad gets diagnosed with lung cancer. Car begins to get built out of guilt that I owe my dad at least this much
>Dad begins to take a huge interest in finishing the car with me, we make great fucking progress
>22 graduate with honors get an offer out of state, finish car and take it out for the first time ever. Drive down to my grandpa's grave with my dad to show him his grandson finished two things in his life. I cry like a bitch
>23 dad dies of lung cancer. I've sinced moved and drive back home to attend the funeral in the camaro which I've kept in pristine condition

I'm 27 now, I live alone making a decent wage as as Data-systems tech working for a police station. My faggot weaboo powerlevel is hidden from the world because of that car I still own and maintain daily, sitting on the driveway outside my window. If that car is the only thing I ever really accomplish in my entire life, I'll die a happy person anyway. All because of a christmas 11 years ago.
