2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
My half-brother is Reggie Bush(brother from another mother), so I do quietly root for them on occasion.
But I do believe they will either hand a W over to Brett Favre(and A.P.) or Peyton Manning.....

It was a road game, coming off a short week, with disgusting field conditions and most of our starting secondary out injured.
Besides, the Cowboys ALMOST lost to the Redskins by even a smaller margin than the Saints.
And finally, almost only counts with horseshoes and hand grenades. Since almost doesn't count in football the Saints are 13-0.
How is it that they are struggling "all of the 4th" when they were behind in the game you mention above and came back to tie in the 4th and win in overtime. That is what I call finishing a game, if I am not mistaken the Saints are still 1st in the NFL in points scored in the 4th quarter.

I actually don’t think they will either. I see Arizona getting the 3 seed and beating the Vikings in Minnesota. But that doesn’t change my opinion that the Vikings are not good enough to beat the Saints in the Superdome.
Someone’s not being objective. The Saints have won 9 (3/4ths) games by more than a touchdown and only 3 (1/4th) have been settled by less than a touchdown. That doesn’t sound like the skin of their teeth or luck to me, sounds like even when the Saints are injured and not playing well they are still better than their opponents.

Damn right, and that person is you.
The only reason they even had a chance to take it to overtime was because of a missed 23 yard field goal.........and I'm not being objective?? You, sir, are delusional - and it's very possible the Vikings will be in the NFC Championship game and not the Saints.
Loving and standing by your team is one thing - non-acknowledgement is another.
Edit: And I say again - their luck will run out..........ask the Patriots of a few years back.Last edited by FasstChevys; 12-14-2009 at 12:33 PM.

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, what a wonderful Christmas it would be.
I had no idea that field goals were a given. I wonder why they even make them line up to kick them?
Furthermore, even if they had make that field goal, the Saints scored with over a minute left and they Saints don’t even need that long to score given that touchdown took less than a minute.
The inferior team is not likely to go further in the playoffs. That is not delusion, it is realistic.
Non-acknowledgement?
Given: This season the Saints average ~37 points scored at home
Given: This season the Saints average ~21 points allowed at home
Given: This is a ~16 points per game advantage for the Saints
Given: Saints will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs
Therefore: It is going to be a long day at work for those unfortunate enough to have to play the Saints in the post season.
Since a 13-0 record is strictly based on luck why do they even play the games? Just flip a coin and save the chance of getting hurt. That is about the only way that the Vikings would be able to beat the Saints anyway.

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
We agree in total. His little trips to Vegas all the time are not traits of a leader that is devoted to winning either. The goofing off shit hit the nail on the head.
I see that as a strong possibility.
I don't think Garrett is the answer for a head coach either, not yet anyways. If Dallas seriously wants to win championships again, Jerry Jones needs to suck up his pride and convince Jimmy Johnson to take the sidelines again. JJ is respected and instills discipline, something Dallas sorely needs. Garrett is far from that level still.
Enough of that stuff please Drew, its kinda old.
Yes
I would appreciate it if you guys would take the off topic talk to another thread. This thread was intended to be about Dallas, not about something New Orleans is still 6 weeks away from, if they get that far.

We have a pool at work. My guess was 8-8, its possible.
While I am a Cowboys fan I know what they can and cant do. And IF they are to win any of the last 3 games it is Washington. Although I hope they beat the Eagles at home just so I can make fun of Spaz

Go Broncos?
The Cowboys will need the Broncos to come through for them in 2 weeks when they play Philly to give the Cowboys a small shot at making the playoffs.
