no way i was messing with you i knew you like saints. i was hoping you would change your pick.
i made the pick on weds and stick with them. i did change the pitt game to the ravens. had to call the wife at home to change it for me, because i work so much on the weekends.
3 way tie for 1st.

man what a game last night! that dome looked like it'd be an intense place to play. the saints looked awesome last night. the patriots couldn't get anything going.

I was kinda drunk by the end of the game, but if I remember correctly they pulled Brady out with almost 8 minutes left on the clock only down 2 scores. Half way through the 4th even the Pats knew they could not compete with the Saints.
The only problem now is that I’m going to have to hear about Washington being a “let down” or “trap” game for the next week.

I was talking to the wife last night and it honestly wouldn't bother me if the Saints dumped a game as long as the vikings do too. Going into the playoffs undefeated will be a ton of pressure on those guys. I'd rather them get a loss out of the way during the regular season than in the post season. Who knows, maybe they are destined to go all the way but history has shown the odds are against them.

The saints do look good along with the colts... but I'd never want to go into the playoffs undefeated. The teams that win it are usually the ones who catch fire at the end of the year and are healthy going in. I like both of them along with the Vikes... but there are quite a few other teams I wouldn't count out. I am a steerlers fan and yes they are 6-5, lost 3 in a row, but 4 were by 3 points, the other 6. I definely wouldn't count them out if they can make it in.

I call:
AFC Championship game - Chargers vs Colts, Colts by 3
NFC Championship Game - Saints vs Cowboys, Boys by 10
Of course I am blinded my bias for the Cowboys so it will probably look like this:
AFC Championship game - Patriots vs Colts, Colts by 10
NFC Championship Game - Saints vs Vikings, Saints by 7

The best I see the cowboys finishing is 9-7. I bet they dump 3 out of the next 5 at a minimum. Could be 4 out of 5.

if the falcons dont beat the saints they wont lose until the super bowl. not saying they will lose the big one, my comment is geared towards the lack of competition in the nfc. vikes lost to the only all around tough team they played. other than the steelers game the toughest game the vikes played was vs the niners lol. i dont consider my team to be an all around good team.

believe it or not the saints normally have a tough time with Washington. Hell, over the years there really isn't a team the saints haven't had a tough time with. I think they have a pretty tough schedule remaining myself. Atlanta is probably the biggest test out of all those followed by Carolina because both of those are road games. I don't see anyone beating them at home this year. That dome is rocking this year.

I don't know what planet you are on, but the Ravens and Packers are pretty good too.
And another thing, I'd LOVE hte Vikings to play the Steelers again - the Vikings would not lose the second time around.......and if for some reason they play again this year, I'll bet heavily on it.
