That bedroom you saw is 13.5' by 11.5', so I would say go with the 40" IMO.
I agree about the pricing on the LCDs. I bought mine in December of 08, and at the time they were running around $1200 for that model, I got mine for $850 on Amazon with free shipping. They have come down quiet a bit now though. If you get a "great" deal on a 37", maybe....but I prefer the 40" myself.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I bought my 46" in December 08 also, Bestbuy. Got it for $1600 sale price, regular price was $2100 I think. Couple times this year, I have seen it even cheaper than $1600 at BB. I will definitely keep Amazon in mind this time though, you scored a hell of a deal.

Amazon has some amazing deals. Especially so around xmas and Thanksgiving. Just keep your eye open. They often have free shipping also. I have bought a few big ticket items from them and have always been pleased with their pricing/service.
Another thing to consider is when newer models come out. This is what happened with my Samsung. The price plummeted when the newer models came out. I watched the price for almost 2 months before I purchased it.
If you don't like what you get, you can return it without any hassle also, for the most part. I never tried to return a big item, but have returned several smaller things. No questions asked.

The local mall has an ice skating rink, so I took a girl there on a first date once, then got her a shirt at abercrombie. Turns out girls don't skate when they are little anymore or something because she couldn't do shit.

i live in a small town... you always go out to dinner in a different city. and usually any guy i do date doesnt live in my city, and i always have to drive to where they are and shit.
and most of them had money to take me awesome places... i just dont like when ppl spend money on me and would avoid it at all costs...
even then a cool date would be absolutely awesome, but i always find myself feeling bad when a guy pays for things... and i have no money.. frustrating..
