Finally got my T/A back with me and...

Bought some new, well used, rims for it. I got too good of a deal to pass up. They were off an old chevy pickup that was using adaptors to run them and aparently they dont even make this size anymore. They were in a field forever and looked like crap but the tires were still really good (brand new up front and fair in the back) and I got them for 400$ I took them home and they polished right up. I need to go back over them again cause they were shinier yesterday before I put them on and then put that aluminum sealer crap on them. They are 18x10s all the way around with 265 tires up front and 295s for the rear. Let me know what yall think.

Everybody recommends Stranos... and I have the prokit on my car and its starting to drop more like sag

Get fatter tires up front too haha

Yeah you do need to lower it. It'll set off the look and you could do 295's all around to rotate. They'll fit upfront no prob.

I wouldn't lower it any more than about an inch, 1.5" tops. Gotta keep an eye on those rear bump stops tho clanking hurts

i always liked that color . my uncles first trans am was 98 in that color. that was my first experience in an ls1 n i was hooked.

There 18's which means they have to be custom ordered unlike the 17inch ones thats prolly why they "stopped making them" lol but they look good and i found that meguiers alum polish works the best yes better than mothers

It was at my fathers house in FL. i was deployed then got out of the army and needed a job and permanant residence somewheres before having it shipped. Now that I got it I bent a valve

as for the size, even custom ordering can be hard from what i was told because they are 18x10s and not 18x9.5 or 18x11. I did use Meguiers, worked great. still need touched up though.
