Actually, the drive is big enough to fit 4 cars in it. 1 in the current garage. I am gonna put a garage up on the back of my property. Also, it's a really quiet little street with huge speed humps so people can't speed too much. No prob parking on the road......

I have 4 whole cars currently and 2 parts cars. 3 of my cars are at the BF's parents junk yard.

Sounds like you have a good size lot -- just remember, you can NEVER build a garage big enough.

It's only a half acre.... By Jersey standards I guess it's kinda big.......

I don't like having to mow all that grass. So nice long paved driveway to the back of my lot sounds like a GREAT idea. Less grass to cut

I had to fix that there is no road to the back of my lot. I must have been multitasking badly

I assume the building codes and setback and such are a bit more strict down your way than up here. We have 13 acres down the road from our house and that is where my next garage is going. Stupid me -- didn't build the last one big enough.

The town is ummmm a bit laxed since their employees only work 1 day a week for half a day from their homes

No one is ever there! For me to get my CO I had to call the inspector at his other job (another township) and he didn't even know the freaking codes for my town! He was telling me I needed some permit I didn't

I think I can build a garage that no one would even know about. And when they find out I'll just say it was already there when I bought the house

Just turn the whole house into a garage and live in the basement.

The house is only 45' x 25'. Why not just build a huge one out back where no one can come bother me and tall enough for a lift

Sounds like a plan -- instead of Spazapalooza next year we can have a Buildagaragapalooza.
