Sarge,
just a thought, adding this 2 cycle marine oil to your gas, will it have any affect on the carbon build up in the intake manifold?

Opposite effect. It is ashless to begin with and actually cleans the intake.

Well what happens is folks refuse to read anything and revert back to "what they have been told" or "it is too good to be true"....so you know....I dont know what to do for them frankly....the data is the data...I have busted my ass to solicit any and all results...be they good or bad. We have been at this for about two years...and I have not seen nor heard of a single negative...all positives.....
So all I can say is....challenge them to read all the results here....that is about all I can do....
Bobistheoilguy also chained off this thread and far and away most people there had excellent results....so there are two reputable web sites with lots of info......
Other than that there are still people out there that think Pennzoil causes sludge.....they all voted for Obama also...so go figure....Last edited by Sarge; 09-04-2009 at 03:16 PM.

Tell you what....I'll join over there and try and answer/share/any and all data we have collected. It (the test) is well over a million miles collectively. I am not selling anything and some of those guys do not understand basic combustion properties at all.....wont pass inspection, fouling plugs etc. just shows ignorance of the test. Listen 500-1 will not cause any harm. It just cleans and lubricates. That is it. It is ashless. I mean there is zero residue. I'll join and try and answer any and all questions they may have. I mean I have a Silverado myself
But like I said...I am not selling nor trying to convince anybody of anything. Data is the data.

i've been lurking around here lately.. i read this thread about 6 months ago. tried this and noticed good results. the ruff idle is gone. i avg. about 18-19 mix of hard driving in the gto with ls1 and m6.
in the yota it's always had ruff idle b/c egr system. but the avg. mpg's are from about 17.5 to and avg. of 19.5.
i posted this in another forum but they are sorta closed minded "see it to belive it" but i do it and it works out great for me. I pick up a 1gal supertech marine 2cyl from wal-mart on the low and use a smaller bottle with the oz reading.
i did'nt read where penz was any better or wrose.. if i'm wrong let me know. the supertech is easy to come by.

I've been using the supertech. It seems the only thing that matters is that it has the TC W3 rating.

White over Blue- 94 Mustang GT Convertible
Holy Horsepower Sarge,
It appears the 94 Mustang GT (5.0 & 5 Spd) with 95,000 miles has picked up 2 mpg with this stuff after a 3000 mile trip to Estes Pkl, Co. and back last week.
Old trip mpg was around 25mpg; this trip 27.5mpg
The 03 Odyssey with 175,000 miles had the CEL for the EGR valve go out last night (4th tankful) What a great side benefit if I don't have to change the valve and clean the ports just for adding this stuff. Mileage may be up, 500 mile trip on Tue. will know then
U party like it's "59", and I'll party like it's "60" again.
Uuuu RAH!!!

we in europe dont have penzoill available (not that easily). but i would definitly try that 2T oil/gas aplication since i drive mostly in the city.
and cold starts are "painfull", half the times abnormal sound comes from engine during the first 3 to 4 seconds.Last edited by 0rion; 09-08-2009 at 05:21 PM.

Pewter Metallic- 2000 NHRA Trans Am
I will get started doing this with the T/A. Is it effective in any engine? I was using ATF in my 7.3 diesel but after reading this thread (to be honest I stopped after page 5 or 6) I am thinking maybe I should stop. Also I have some old tractors with inline 4's.
Sarge, would you suggest doing this 'mod' with any gas engine, carburated or injected,, and what about diesel?Last edited by mariner3302; 09-10-2009 at 09:17 PM.

Don't have an LS1 but thought you might be interested.
I posted this up on the Jeep forum I visit and several guys are trying it out in various vehicles, including myself.
One guys said even his lawn mower gets better mileage using the same mix ratio.
I myself am testing it in a '79 CJ5 with a 258 I-6.
I'll let you know how it goes.
