Then from now on I'm drivin to jersey and you are working on my car.... I have gone to this guy for alignments before. He knows his stuff and works hard but get this.... he goes to back off the lift and BANG! car stops dead... so he pulls forward and tries again... THEN he gets the wood out.... sigh.

Ya. See, that's what pisses me off. First, put the wood behind the ramps, drive the car onto the lift, do alignment THEN back car off lift onto wood. Isn't that hard.

Last night we ran both the T/A and Corvette to a car show hosted by a Dodge dealership in southern NY. Next to GM Carlisle, it was the best show I have been too all year. It was an open show -- all makes, all models and the turnout was pretty incredible. The owner's father has a collection of AMC drag cars and muscle cars that were all on display. Unfortunately, I left my camera at home in my hurry to get both cars ready. Only other 4th gen there was a guy claiming 660 rwhp on a built LS1 and a 150 shot. Sounded mean as hell, but was a bit riced with lambo doors and stuff.

Just ordered a Magnaflow catback system. Was going to wait until winter, but KY Speed is having a Labor Day sale.

The stock system is just too tame. I still can not get over the single tips with the size of the cutout in the bumper cover. When I first looked at the car (we had the seller put it up on a lift) I was shocked to find that it was the stock exhaust system. I figured someone had cheaped out on a replacement.

Or they didn't wanna be "different". You know...just turn the key and go.

I honestly think we lucked out on the purchase -- at the time the car was 6 years old and had no modifications other than a hacked up MAF. Probably was "turn the key and go" for both the first and second owners.

Once the Magnaflow goes on, that Bird's gonna snarl. I have heard FBods and GTOs with Magnaflows...sound DAMN nice.

The Vette has Magnaflows and sounds awesome under acceleration -- that's part of the reason I stayed with Magnaflow for the Bird. I have never been a fan of "the Flowmaster sound", and I am not at all familiar with Borla, or any of the other brand systems.

Yup. Magnaflows have a nice low rumble at idle, but under acceleration, you hear it. That's what I like about Magnaflow...STEALTH.

Agreed. I am also not into that interior drone on long trips that I have seen complaints about with the Loudmouth systems and some others.

You won't have the drone. BUT you will have a nice growl under accel. I watched my friend drive off after breakfast this morning in his 06 GTO with Magnaflow axlebacks and man did it sound nice. Had a nice, low snarl.

    pretty uneventful.

what exactly were you comparing results to when you responded to my LT1 thread? You mentioned comparing the ohms from ground of battery to sensor housing where it screwed in, but you didnt mention where I get my 'baseline' reading from to compare to.
