fuck yeah, been running peer guardian for a long time, never had any problems. I usually steal my neighbours wireless signal so i am guessing he hasnt had any either or else he would probably lock it. But when i am d/l ing big shit ( movies)on my cable line i havent had any problems either,

whhaaaat? it doesnt matter if he doesn't physically have the file anymore ..if for any odd reason they wanted to issue a sopenia on him...its over..they have his ip and will be able to trace it back to him...however..ips can be spoofed along with mac addresses..so that would/should be one thing to bring up in court if that day ever came.

So physically getting rid of the computer (Out of the house) he can still get screwed?

as long as the monitored incident happened when the computer was in your possession ..however its more..its the fault of the account holder..that is why even when 10 year olds get caught..the parents have to pay..since they are the account holder from the internet service provider
