here is my dilemma...i have longtube's and off road y pipe too a magnaflow. i want to remove the y pipe and cat back and put bullet mufflers right after the header.would doing that hurt performance, and how loud would it be

If you wanted to do it i'm sure it'd work. It'd quiet it down alot. I've got the same setup. Personally I think the LT, ORY, and Magna gives the LS1 the perfect sound. What are you lookin to gain from adding bullet mufflers? Are you trying to lower the DB or trying to give it a different sound?

what im really trying to do is eliminate the rasp at wot, my main concern is hurting performance,and it being to loud,

Put one after the Y before the magna CB over axel pipe. Is the magna chambered muffler? If so 1 bullet should tone it down a bit at wot.
