What gears do you have

Hey guys im building a 9" for my 6 spd car im lookin at ideas for my gears i was lookin at around 3.73 to about 4.56 what do yu all have and how many rpms are you tachin in 6th gear

For the 9" I just ordered I went 4.11. Thats a good gear depending on what cam your running and what tire size your running.

stock cam and almost stock size tire might run a 335/35/17 hoosier

Stock cam with a 335/35/17? Why?

A STOCK size 275/40/17 Mickey Thompson ET Street will launch ANYTHING your stock cammed car will ever, ever throw at it. That is no where close to a 'stock' tire.

I still say 4.11's.

I have 4.56 and have to say I love them. Mine is pretty much a street car and all I have is a lid but I do have a full exhaust. I have cheap Sumitomo performance summer tires. I spin first and some of second on the street but the first time I went to the track I got a 2.0 60 foot which wasnt terrible. But I do love my gears.

im going to be running a 200 shot on mine and spraying 50 of that off the line will the mickeys still hold that?

9" here. 410 RWHP N/A. 4.30 gears. Trap at about 6650 RPM in 4th with 26.5" tall tires.

Running a 230/232 604/604 113+1 cam

Absolutely love the gearing on the street as well. Daily drive the car in the summer. Still get 24-26 mpg when I can keep my foot out of it. 75 MPH in 6th turning 2050 rpm.
