Arctic White, red/gray- 1997 Corvette, 92 Typhoon
Luckly for me when i was looking for a new DD i already had a T/A. But i did look at the g35 and i went with the subaru legacy GT over it. Turbo means fun and trq, AWD means it goes through almost anything, gas mileage is ok 28mpg freeway but thats also with AWD taking some mpgs away. Space its a midsize car and its pretty roomy. The interior on my legacy is very nice its basically an adult versio nof the STI with more relaxed suspension so its not soo bumpy. Real good crash test rating, side air bags and what not. But if you dont live in an area with snow then AWD doesnt mean much too you.

True but, if he's comparing cars as close as possible I would think all are comparing G35 coupe, not sedan. I was looking at A G35 coupe myself, very nice car but would not trade or get rid of my TA for it.
Even the tuner at my shop made me laugh when he was asked if they put a blower on one. He just looked at me and said "yeah and it was still slow" Very nice car but get the TA if you want power and looks. G35 is a great looking car in a coupe with the big spoiler on the back though.

I'd go with the G35. I'm getting ready to sell my piece of crap T/A. It's an '02 with 36000 miles and I've had nothing but problems with it. Headlights are shot, A/C knobs are broke, dash is cracked, door panels are cracked, clutch sticks, catalytic converter is shot, roof is bubbling, back end whines. You name it, I've experienced it. Engine is great, don't get me wrong, but the car itself is falling apart around it.

wow , you got a fuckin lemon..........sorry to hear it. so far anything that has broke and been replaced on mine is due to driver error or abuse but, she's gettin stronger.

That's what's sad. I saved for 4 years to get this car and look what I ended up with. The only reason why I haven't sold it or traded it in yet is the fact that it's paid off and I don't have a car payment.

VW BEETLE W/ FLOWER- 88 CRX
well, in my hi-po family my mother drives an 03 G35.
if it were every day drive rain snow and what not buy a g35 with warranty.
rides nicer in a sense can be a safer car with more traction handling option goodies than you can imagine.
and they are fast enough too make you go ...wooo....
but nothing more.
but if your 17 TA is going to be cheaper to buy repair. sounds great with a set of headers. ladies always love a TA...sometimes this is bad though depending on the women>.>
and you can look back in 30 years and say "kids i drove one of them trans am back in my day"
thats what i want to do anyway
dont think this makes me a nissan fan...dont kick me for saying nice things about the g35
but they do ride nice

shit, if i had the dough i'd make an offer. i know it sounds dumb but even if things are fallin apart i guess i see it as a chance to work on it and spend time with the car. i'm just sorry it's fallin apart on you. makes the ta look bad from your stand point. my 02's had headlight problems, has interior problems and i think a cat's bad but its fine otherwise and has 2x the miles. good luck w it
