Wow, those are sweet!!
I'm trying to get into woodworking and have a new coffee table halfway done. I have most of my equipment, but too busy.
The folks over at http://www.sawmillcreek.org are nice and helpful.

i definately want to get into more. . . i piddle. . made my bed frame and headboard, night stand, routed my own trimwork around the house, and few other stuff. The best feelin about it woodworking is the moment you say "Man i really need to buy a (insert wood furniture, tool, item, etc. here) . . . aaaah screw it, i'll just make it" lol

I like to work my wood too. Sometimes, it's the first thing I do when I wake up in the morning. Other days, I just take a break here and there to do it. There are a lot of websites that I use and I have seen plenty of books and magazines that offer much help when it comes to working wood.
I do it any time I can. You guys are right, it can be very satisfying.

Yep, I have a shop in the basement of my house! I made all of the Oak hardwood flooring in my house, I made all of the Walnut crown and base molding also, I made all of the cabinets in the kitchen including the island, cabinets in both baths and the laundry room, all out of walnut, also the door jambs are walnut.
I frequent: sawmill creek, ncwoodworker, woodnet, and lumberjocks to name a few. The equipment is expensive to get started but you save a ton of money building you're on projects, it is very rewarding as well!
My wifes grandfather started a wood shop sometime back in the early 60's, he handed it down to his two grandsons in the middle 80's. When I started dating my wife in 1986, I helped her brother and cousin in the wood shop while i was going thru college! I still enjoy it today!
I am almost finished installing my 3hp Cyclone dust collector that I purchased a few weeks ago.
When we built our house, I also installed a 400 amp service and did all of the wiring in the house. I did all of the plumbing also!
Enjoy!
