Oil capacity??
Please help..I just put an LS1 Firebird/Camaro oil pan and pick-up on my 6.0 LQ4 that resides in my '39 Chevy. Had to put tall springs on it due to the tall truck pan. Now it sits like it should, but after 5 qts it shoes 1 qt. low. Does it hold 6 w/ a filter or do I need to mark my dipstick differently??
Thanks for the assist...Folks here have been very helpful going back to when I first considerd this swap....Thanks again!!

stock is 5.5 quarts. What filter are you running? The pf61 (ac/delco)is a little taller than the pf46 and holds about another half quart. So 5.5 with stock filter and 6 with the pf61 filter.
