And the door 20 feet away is 50 cent drafts 4.75 pitchers. At least that's what it was a few years back haven't been to Jakes in too damn long

its still 50 cent beers. they arent pints, but you can still get drunk for less than 10 bucks.

i have a friend who goes there. 20 bucks will get both of us good and buzzed, and dinner, haha. then we'd meet up with some female friends at the dance bars that i hate oh so much.

I would recommend for everyone to try college, it's a fucking blast...best time of my life by far. $1 pitchers, penny night, $2 fish bowels, drunk chicks everywhere. I went to SIU where at the time it was 18 to get into the bars with an UNDER stamp. But you could always find a waitress to serve you. Coming from high school where you do everything to try and score beer to a place where they legally let you into the bars will corrupt you fast, and I wish I could do it again.

True, but most huge parties like that take place in "young" neighborhoods or college neighborhoods. They get planned. I've been to many, only 2 or 3 have had cops show up, and only 1 actually got busted.

I love college.

do it man. i think about quittin my job and goin back all the time. . . best 4 and half years of my life. and ive talk to guys in theyre 40s and 50s that say it was theirs too. makes me wanna go back, have a blast even tho your broke as hell. . . who the hell needs money . . .

Even better than going back is to set it up Old School style. Find a nice house on campus and have your buddy from Speaker City throw some crazy parties.
