NBM Engine Bays
I've looked through the "show your engine bay" thread and didn't find much. I would like to see the engine bay of your NBM bird. I'm looking to repaint a lot of parts but am not sure what colors to use (white, black, nbm). I'm thinking of replacing all the black with nbm or white, but not sure!

If you are interested in doing powder, we have a match for NBM. Here is an intake we did.

Yes. I'm definitely interested in painting my intake when I get LS6. Btw, I've seen your coating work and it is always top notch! Do you have a pic of that intake installed?
Also, with my covers, do you think it would look good painted NBM? Wish I could photoshop it to see. I could keep it black or even do it white? What do you think?

personally I dont like white in the engine bay unless the car is white. what covers are you talking about doing? valve covers or frc's? all the black with nbm will look good or if you wanted to PC some things the wet gloss black would look great in there too. I dont have any pics of the nbm powder on anything because that intake sold on ebay and I have yet to see it surface.

IMO, it would be too much NBM to do the intake too. It could look good white. Even black looks good. You could paint it a glossy black if you want to go with a "finished" look. Maybe even polished?

Agreed about too much NBM. I think I will end up painting it glossy black, but need to think about white first.

White with Black Stripe- 1995 Trans Am
i think you could just do the intake NBM and then paint FRCs white. That would look good against the blue engine bay

Well I wouldn't want to repaint them. I'm thinking it will just end up being glossy black along with all the other black.

from the pics alone, I would say do the throttle body and valve covers white. but thats just me. Detail is the key, and I know you cant see much of the valve covers, just my .02

Personally, I like a little red mixed in with my NBM. Just like anything though you can go overboard.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
Working with NBM is difficult-that's why i got a black car the second time around. But i LOVE NBM.
I would go with metallic gray or chrome on the intake and deck lid. Talk to VENOMOUS in the texas section-he said he has the ability to paint chrome. Definately have the intake PC'd by triple H.
