how is there no separation of church and state? I highly doubt you know what it means.

Last time i checked a particular church wasn't telling me what religion i'm allowed to be. the pope isn't writing our laws. and at the same time, i don't see govt agencies banning religious groups.

Do they influence each other, yes, i mean, politicians have religious views, and churches still have to abide by laws. but they dont control each other

dont worry i have a cousin who is also, honestly shes an ok girl and she knows where and when she can be lezzie, and she does not try to press it on anyone guy or girl... she also doesnt bring home other women to the family chistmas, and if you see here on the street with her gf you would guess they are just friends, they keep it at home and not out in public, that im cool with, but when you walk by the buckle and see two dudes kissin thats fucked up...

You do realize you just contradicted yourself right? First you say there's no separation of church and state, implying that you think the churches are setting laws that we have to live by. Then you go and emphasize that the people are voting for these laws. All that does is prove that there is a separation of Church and State.

What you probably think that law means is that religion shouldn't influence voting. But it does, its our personal belief, just like yours is to allow gays to marry.

In summary, we live in a democratic republic, meaning the people elect officials to make decisions in Washington, and we vote personally on major topics. Majority wins. If you don't like it......:GTFO:

What I'm saying is the government is setting laws that the religious have to live by. It goes both ways.
